The CW Developing A YOUNG JUSTICE Live Action Television Series?

After the cancellation of Young Justice earlier this year, fans were left devastated, especially with the final episode’s emotional cliffhanger. The franchise expanded with the recently released Young Justice: Legacy video game, but there is still much talk about the desire for a third season. Now, we have word on a new take on the series, and it’s not what you may have expected.

According to Bleeding Cool, DC and The CW are reteaming for another series: a live action take on Young Justice. Dubbed a “teen drama/romance series with a superhero twist”, it is expected to make its debut on the network in 2015. The only character details offered are that Superboy and Miss Martian will lead the team.

Young Justice is the latest DC adaptation to land at The CW. Arrow is currently in its second season, with a spin-off starring The Flash in the works. iZombie and Hourman are also being developed, while the Wonder Woman origin tale Amazon is on the back burner.
