Henry Cavill is currently in Detroit preparing for Batman vs. Superman, which is expected to begin filming soon. Via Henry Cavill News, the Superman actor met with fans in the city, and offered a few bits of new info for the Man of Steel follow-up. He confirms that production is moving ahead as planned, despite rumors of a delay. The fan who described meeting Cavill and his trainer said that filming is actually underway in Pontiac. ARROW: First Look At Katrina Law As Nyssa Al Ghul In New “Heir To The Demon” Episodes
February 5th’s episode of Arrow, “Heir to the Demon”, will see the debut of Nyssa al Ghul on the hit CW series. Now, via IGN, we have our first photos of the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul in action. The thirteenth episode of the season will see Nyssa (played by Spartacus‘ Katrina Law) journey to Starling City, as she seeks to bring Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) back to the League of Assassins. LEGO Sets To Coincide With BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Release In 2016
Unsurprisingly, LEGO has been developing a new line of DC Universe sets to be released alongside Batman vs. Superman. They were originally scheduled for 2015, to coincide with the theatrical debut of the Man of Steel sequel. We now have an update from the London Toy Fair, via Brick Fanatics. Since the movie’s delay to Summer 2016, the LEGO sets have also been pushed back a year. A new line of DC products will be put out in 2015 as a replacement. Bruce Wayne Featured In Latest TV Spot For THE LEGO MOVIE
We’ve known for a while that Batman is a key supporting character in The LEGO Movie – appearing alongside fellow DC superheroes such as Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern – but now, it has been confirmed that his alter ego will be featured as well. Here’s some exciting news. According to TV Guide, an upcoming episode of Arrow will see the return of Jessica de Gouw as The Huntress. The episode is titled, “Birds of Prey”, which should please fans of the DC group of the same name. Batman To The Rescue In First Clip From THE LEGO MOVIE
The first clip from Warner Bros.’ anticipated animated adaptation The LEGO Movie has been released. The minute-long scene features Emmet (Chris Pratt), Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) and Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman) in a tight situation, before they’re saved by none other than Batman (Will Arnett). Four Characters Being Cast For NBC’s CONSTANTINE Television Pilot
It was recently confirmed that NBC has ordered a television pilot based on DC Comics’ John Constantine, with David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone executive producing. Described as fun, witty and dark, Constantine is intending to be one of the pilots on NBC’s 2014-2015 schedule. Now, via KSite TV, we have details on four characters who are currently being cast for the potential series. Obviously, there’s John Constantine himself, but his age and nationality are unknown. First Batman Villain To Appear On GOTHAM Series Is The Penguin
Recently, it was confirmed that Fox’s upcoming Gotham television series will not only feature Jim Gordon and a young Bruce Wayne, but also some of the city’s most iconic villains. The Joker, Catwoman, The Riddler, and The Penguin have all been confirmed to appear in the show. Now, we know which of these foes will be the first to feature.
