Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara Teases Announcement Of New DC Film Series – JUSTICE LEAGUE Included

With Man of Steel and 2016’s Batman vs. Superman, Warner Bros. is finally moving forward with a DC Cinematic Universe. The question on everyone’s mind, obviously, is what other movies we can expect. Justice League is a no-brainer, and is rumored to be releasing shortly after Batman vs. Superman. Fans have also been vocal about the need for Wonder Woman and The Flash movies. And now, we have a minor update on the DCCU’s future.

In a New York Times piece on Kevin Tsujihara, the Warner Bros. CEO confirmed that a “film series” based on a DC property will be announced in the near future. NY Times adds that Justice League is “expected” to be included in this series. The site also reaffirmed that development on DC Entertainment productions has “accelerated considerably” since Tsujihara came on board.

As for what the other films in this series will include, there’s no shortage of options. Movies for Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman are inevitable, as well as new installments for Superman, Batman, and possibly Green Lantern. Then there’s the DC movie Dwayne Johnson is attached to – Justice League? An unspecified film starring The Rock as a hero/antihero? These are all exciting prospects, and hopefully, WB/DC will announce something very soon. Comic-Con perhaps? Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
