Warner Bros. Developing Film Adaptation Of Vertigo’s FEDERAL BUREAU OF PHYSICS, Produced By David Goyer And Written By SUICIDE SQUAD’s Justin Marks

While several DC titles are reportedly in development at Warner Bros., the studio is also pursuing another Vertigo series to bring to the big screen. According to Deadline, WB has hired The Jungle Book scribe Justin Marks to write a film adaptation of Vertigo’s Federal Bureau of Physics. The script will be based on co-creator Simon Oliver’s treatment. Marks previously penned the in development Suicide Squad movie and the shelved Green Arrow: Escape From Supermax. DC go-to guy David S. Goyer, who co-wrote Supermax, is producing FBP. The story for this Vertigo title follows the Federal Bureau of Physics, “a group formed in a world where quantum disturbances happen all the time and must be dealt with.”

FBP will be overseen by Jon Berg for Warner Bros., with Nellie Reed producing. Stay tuned for more news on this film adaptation as we have it.
