The CW Unveils Fall 2014 Schedule: THE FLASH Airs Tuesdays, ARROW Sticks With Wednesday, iZOMBIE Premieres Midseason
The CW has debuted its schedule for Fall 2014 today, and there are only a few changes. Arrow will stick to its Wednesday 8-9PM EST timeslot, while its spin-off, The Flash, will air on Tuesdays in the same timeframe. This is the former slot of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which will now air 9-10 PM on ABC. Meanwhile, the network’s other DC series, iZombie, is now set for a midseason premiere. Stephen Amell Discusses Reprising ARROW Role In THE FLASH Pilot
While there has been much talk of a crossover between Arrow and its spin-off The Flash, it looks like we’re getting one sooner than later. The extended trailer for Barry Allen’s series released today confirmed that The Arrow (Stephen Amell) will make an appearance in the pilot, offering advice for the new superhero. Today, we received quite a bit of news concerning The CW’s next DC series, The Flash. A promo aired last night during the Arrow season finale, giving us our first glimpse of the Scarlet Speedster in action. New First-Look Featurette For GOTHAM Released
Off the heels of a series pickup, a new featurette for Gotham has debuted. The following behind-the-scenes video showcases plenty of footage from Fox’s Batman prequel series, as well as interviews with cast and crew members. Showrunner Bruno Heller additionally suggests that we will see Scarecrow at some point, joining a slew of Batman villains getting the origin treatment in Gotham. First Official Look At Ben Affleck’s Batman And The New Batmobile In BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN!
It’s finally here! After Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder teased a reveal of the new Batmobile yesterday, he has now shared a new promotional image featuring the vehicle. Far more important, though, is that it unveils our first look at the highly anticipated Batman suit, donned by Ben Affleck. As expected, it looks very close to the comic book version, more so than any other cinematic Batman costume to date. From the enlarged Bat-symbol and shorter ears to Affleck’s muscles and cowl-ready chin, it’s hard to fault this design. GOTHAM Will Air Mondays On Fox; Riddler, Renee Montoya And Crispus Allen Actors Promoted To Series Regulars
Quite a bit of Gotham news was released today. Recently, it was confirmed that the Batman prequel was picked up for a full series at Fox, joining a slew of DC television shows for the 2014-2015 season. Now, we know of three more characters who will be series regulars. Via THR, Cory Michael Smith, Victoria Cartagena, and Andrew Stewart-Jones will serve as regulars on Gotham after guest-starring in the pilot. We previously knew that Smith was Edward Nygma, aka the future Riddler. Cartagena and Stewart-Jones will play Gotham PD detectives Renee Montoya and Crispus Allen, respectively.
