Video Games: BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Pushed To 2015 Release; New Promo For Batmobile’s Battle Mode

We have some disappointing news for fans looking forward to the Batman: Arkham Knight video game. Originally scheduled for October 2014, Rocksteady has confirmed that its highly anticipated Arkham City follow-up will now be released sometime in 2015. The company cites more time being required for fully realizing its massive vision, and marketing manager Guy Perkins states the following to Gamespot“We just want to make this the best experience that we can, and that takes time. We feel that we have an absolutely awesome game in the works, and we want to make it as great as it possibly can be. We just need more time to do that. If we didn’t give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren’t happy with. We want to make sure we’re absolutely nailing it 100 percent.” Arkham Knight will be available exclusively on PC and next-gen consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Those hoping for a new Batman game this fall shouldn’t be entirely let down, however, as LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is set to debut later this year.

In the meantime, we also have a new promotional trailer for Arkham Knight. This one takes a look at the Batmobile in “battle mode”, showing off the vehicle’s array of weapons. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more news on the highly anticipated video game as we have it.
