Batman’s Cape And Cowl From BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Suit Spotted At San Diego Comic-Con

Despite the film not being mentioned on Warner Bros.’ schedule, many fans have wondered if Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will make any appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, which officially starts today. Now, we know that the Zack Snyder-directed epic does have at least some sort of presence. Via SuperHeroHype, the cape and cowl that is a part of Ben Affleck’s Batsuit has been spotted on the convention floor. The following images offer a better look at this part of the costume, confirming that the two pieces are indeed black and not blue. They’re also a further indication that this cowl will once again have a stiffer neck. While it’s possible it is more flexible than can be seen, perhaps Affleck will have the same difficulties turning his neck as every past Batman actor has faced – with the exception of Christian Bale with the suit from The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. With SDCC underway, stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters May 6th, 2016. A follow-up to Man of Steel, the second installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio.
