THE FLASH Casts Dominic Purcell As DC Villain Heat Wave

The CW’s latest superhero series, The Flash, has added another villain to its cast, and this news should please fans of Prison Break. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dominic Purcell will play Mick Rory, a man obsessed with fire who becomes the supervillain Heat Wave. He then teams up with Captain Cold, played by Purcell’s Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller.

Rory will be referenced in episode four of The Flash before making a full-fledged appearance in the tenth episode. In the comics, Heat Wave is known for being a member of the Rogues, a group that is clearly being formed on the small screen. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
