Holly Hunter Discusses Her Experience On The Set Of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

Oscar winning actress Holly Hunter is among the many additions to the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, yet we still have no official word on who she’s playing. One rumor suggested that she could be a Leslie Thomkpins-type character, while other reports claim that she is in fact a United States Senator. All that Warner Bros. has said on Hunter’s role is that she is playing a newly created character for the movie. And now, the actress herself discusses her involvement with the film.

Speaking with The Wall Street Journal, Hunter had this to say on being a part of such a huge production. “It was really fun to be part of a giant, massive piece of machinery, headed up by [director] Zack Snyder, who is thoroughly at home in that uber mega environment. Most people would have a nervous breakdown with that kind of pressure, and he’s enthralled.” As for how she joined the Dawn of Justice cast, Hunter recalls, “Zack asked me. He came to me with an offer, and I was like, “Yeah, that would be fun.” It’s fun to mix it up.” Finally, she reveals that she shares scenes with Henry Cavill’s Superman, and she recounts seeing the Man of Steel alongside Ben Affleck’s Batman on set. “I have scenes with Superman. He looks phenomenal. And to see Ben and Henry together is quite formidable. They are massive hunks of masculinity.” Unsurprisingly, Hunter refuses to share any further details.
