ARROW: New Details on Possible Season Four Villain

It was confirmed earlier this year that Arrow will be returning for a fourth season in the fall. Considering the very high stakes of this season, as Team Arrow is in conflict with Ra’s al Ghul and the League of Assassins, fans have been wondering how the next Big Bad will be able to top this. Now, a new report reveals how the season three finale will set up what – and who – comes in the next season. [Warning: Potential Arrow Season 3 Finale Spoilers Ahead.]

So, according to TV Line, a new enemy for Oliver Queen will be introduced in the season three finale of Arrow, which is expected to air on The CW sometime in May. Described as “major, formidable [and] fierce,” this adversary will continue to pose as a threat well into the fourth season. What is this villain’s name? Currently, he is being referred to internally as “Damian Dark.”

It is unknown whether this character is an original creation or originates from the comics, but TV Line speculates that this could be Arrow‘s version of Damian Wayne, aka the son of Batman in the comics. This theory seems like a stretch, at least to me, personally. However, we will just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more as we have it.
