New Batman and DC Comics Mobile Games Set to Launch This Year

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (via Variety) has announced a slew of new mobile games that are releasing this year, and three of them are DC Comics-based. It was previously announced that LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham will be available for mobile devices this summer, but joining it on the 2015 slate are Batman: Arkham Underworld and DC Comics Legends.

Arkham Underworld is the latest spin-off of the critically acclaimed video game franchise. In this installment, which is produced by Turbine, players “can build their hideout in Gotham City, then recruit and train an army of henchmen to do their bidding. Gameplay will include commanding super-villains from the Batman: Arkham universe, including the Riddler, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc.” Players can now sign up for the beta at arkhamunderworld.com.

Meanwhile, WB Games San Francisco will produce DC Comics Legends, a role-playing game which allows users to collect DC superheroes and villains and customize teams. Other mobile games being released by Warner Bros. this year are Mortal Kombat X and a Game of Thrones title. For details on those, click the link above.
