First BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Trailer Reportedly Attached To MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

Fans have anxiously been waiting for Warner Bros. to officially announce when we would see the first teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, Collider may have just answered our question. According to the site, the trailer will be attached to The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy’s newest film, Mad Max: Fury Road, which will be released on May 15th in the United States, reaffirming past rumors. They also say that Warner Bros. are unsure if they want to release the trailer with Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will release a bit earlier than Mad Max. Though, considering Mad Max is being distributed by Warner Bros., it makes sense for them to release it with that, instead of with a Marvel film.

If the first trailer does indeed release this May, that would be a whole ten months before the film releases next March, which is considerably earlier than when most films release their trailers. In comparison, Man of Steel released its first teaser trailer eleven months before the film was released in June 2013. But like that trailer, I wouldn’t expect them to reveal too much, probably just enough to get fans excited for the film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Gal Gadot, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne, from a script written by Chris Terrio. The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, and it is currently scheduled to hit theaters March 25th, 2016.
