GOTHAM Will Introduce Mr. Freeze, Clayface and More in Season Two

Cast members of Gotham, along with producer John Stephens, appeared at WonderCon this weekend to promote the successful Fox series. And thanks to IGN, we know what went down at the panel. The first seven minutes of the April 13th episode, titled “Beasts of Prey,” were screened. (For a description of the footage, click the link above.) Afterwards, the cast discussed the remainder of the season, which will see Gordon taking on the Ogre (played by Milo Ventimiglia) as well as new developments for Edward Nygma.

Of course, with Gotham being renewed for a second season, we can expect to see even more early versions of iconic Batman villains. The panel revealed that next season will serve as the introduction of Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Mad Hatter and Hugo Strange. Tommy Elliot – aka the future Hush – will return, while season two will revisit the story of Jerome, who is probably the future Joker.

Additionally, Stephens says that incorporating the Court of Owls has been frequently discussed, but they have yet to officially decide to actually do so. Season two of Gotham will also see young Bruce Wayne beginning his transformation into the public persona that he will fully adopt as an adult, and he will continue to investigate the murders of his parents.

Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Gotham returns next Monday on Fox.
