JUSTICE LEAGUE: GODS AND MONSTERS Reveals Box Art

Bruce Timm’s return to DC Animation hits stores this summer in the form of Justice League: Gods and Monsters, and thanks to Super Hero Hype, we have our first look at the movie’s box art.
Justice League: Gods
and Monsters
takes fans to a world where the world’s greatest heroes are a
little more ruthless than the ones we know.
Superman (Benjamin Bratt of Law
& Order
fame) is a ruthless man who was raised by someone other than
the Kents.  Batman (Michael C Hall of Dexter) is not Bruce Wayne and Wonder
Woman (Paget Brewster from Criminal
Minds
) is not a warrior of Themyscira.
These three are more brutal and their tactics skirt the line between
justice and tyranny.
A group of scientists are murdered and as the Justice League
investigates they begin to wonder if there is a greater and more sinister power
at work.
Along with the box art, the special features included with
the movie are described.  Alternate Realities: Infinite Possibilities
is a look into the history of DC’s alternate reality stories and why they are
so popular.  Calculated Risks: The Making of Gods and Monsters is a behind the
scenes look at the movie from the initial question “What haven’t we seen
before?” to the final product.  A
preview of DC’s next direct to video story and lastly a documentary about Jack
Kirby’s New Gods called The New Gods.
