Warner Bros.’ New IMAX Deal Includes BATMAN V SUPERMAN, SUICIDE SQUAD and Other DC Films

Warner Bros. has announced a renewed deal to release its movies on IMAX screens, with up to 30 films from the studio through 2020 being available on the platform. And of course, these movies include at least some of the DC adaptations that will be released over the next five years.

We already knew that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was set to screen in IMAX; in fact, an extended trailer will be shown in select IMAX theaters tonight. Meanwhile, WB/DC’s other 2016 film, Suicide Squad, will also released in IMAX, as well as “other” DC tentpoles. So, it sounds like we can expect to see the likes of Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the two-part Justice League in this format too. And for fans of The LEGO Movie, upcoming installments in that franchise, such as 2018’s direct sequel, will also be released in IMAX.
