Barry Allen/The Flash to Guest Star in ARROW Season 3 Finale

With the penultimate episode of Arrow season three airing tonight, we are now one week from the epic season finale. However, Oliver Queen Al Sah-Him will also guest star in next week’s episode of The Flash, teaming up with Barry Allen and Firestorm to battle the Reverse-Flash. Afterwards, it looks like we’ll see at least one more Arrow-Flash team-up this season, as the Scarlet Speedster will guest star in Arrow‘s third season finale.

Writer and executive producer Marc Guggenheim spoke with Entertainment Weekly to discuss this season finale, titled “My Name is Oliver Queen.” He teased that Team Arrow will receive help from a key character, saying, “There’s going to be a big character returning for the finale that we haven’t announced yet.” EW later confirmed that this character is in fact The Flash. No further details on Allen’s role in the episode are given.

Meanwhile, Guggenheim confirms that the season finale will not feature a cliffhanger leading into season four; rather, it is a “definitive” ending for the show’s first three seasons. Also, the finale will not set up the untitled Arrow/Flash spin-off series.
