DC TV News Bits: LUCIFER Logo and Synopsis Released; ARROW’s Stephen Amell Wants to Guest Star on CONSTANTINE
Yesterday, it was confirmed that NBC has decided not to bring Constantine back for a second season, despite much support from its fanbase. While this will surely disappoint some, Warner Bros. is currently shopping the series to another network. The #SaveConstantine movement has been supported by many celebrities, one of which is a familiar face in the DC television world.
Stephen Amell, who stars as Oliver Queen on The CW’s Arrow, has offered to make a guest star appearance on Constantine if it is picked up by another network. There have been several networks suggested; fans have expressed interest in Constantine being picked up by The CW, which would undoubtedly integrate the series into the world of Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Other possibilities include Fox, which houses Gotham and recently ordered Lucifer, and Netflix.
Regardless, Amell is down to bring The Arrow to Constantine if it is resurrected, and star Matt Ryan is also fond of the idea.
