GOTHAM Upgrades Morena Baccarin’s Leslie Thompkins to Series Regular for Season Two

Dr. Leslie Thompkins, played by fan-favorite actress Morena Baccarin, was introduced as a recurring character in the first season of Fox’s Gotham. Baccarin, who is currently filming Deadpool for 20th Century Fox, had an option to become a series regular for the show’s second season, and it looks like that option is being used.

TV Line has confirmed that Leslie Thompkins has been promoted to series regular status for season two of Gotham. In the Batman prequel series, the doctor is a love interest for Detective Jim Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie. It will be interesting to see where Thompkins’ story goes this season. Gotham is set to return sometime this fall on Fox.
