Possible New Details on BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE’s Villains and Dream Sequence

While we know that Lex Luthor is the primary antagonist of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a secondary villain has also been expected. For over a year, it has been rumored that Doomsday will be that other villain, but despite several sources saying so, it hasn’t been confirmed officially. And now, we have another credible source reaffirming this rumor.

[Warning: The Following Contains Possible Mild Spoilers For Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.]

El Mayimbe, who recently launched his new website Heroic Hollywood, appeared on the latest episode of Shanlian on Batman. There, he dropped some exclusive info on the villains of Batman v Superman. As expected, Luthor is the main villain, while Doomsday is the “muscle.” As a comparison, in the original Star Wars, Grand Moff Tarkin is the primary villain, and Darth Vader is the muscle.

While it is unknown if an actor is playing Doomsday (could it be Callan Mulvey, whose role in Batman v Superman is unknown?), ComicBook.com says that the character will be created by a mix of CGI and practical effects. The idea of seeing Doomsday brought to life in live action – in a Zack Snyder-directed movie no less – is exciting to say the least. I personally can’t wait to see what the villain looks like in the film.

Mayimbe also shared some additional details. One of the most talked-about moments of the trailer was when Batman asks Superman, “Tell me, do you bleed?” According to Mayimbe, that line is actually from a dream sequence in Dawn of Justice. It’s not surprising that a dream sequence is in the movie, given the presence of one in Man of Steel. No further details about what the dream consists of are given.

Some interesting info here, for sure. Stay tuned for more as we have it.
