Victor Garber Teases FLASH/ARROW Spin-Off Premiere Date and More

Victor Garber has had a very long and distinguished acting
career.  He took some time with Indepth Interviews‘ Pat Cerasaro to reflect and look forward to the upcoming Flash/Arrow Spinoff

The crux of the interview was Garber’s involvement with the
NY Pops 32nd Birthday Gala.
Garber has a considerable amount of stage work under his belt: he was
nominated for four Tony Awards for productions of Little Me, Deathtrap and
Damn Yankees.  He’s also worked often on television on the
long running series, Alias, Eli Stone (where he worked with Flash and Arrow producers Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti) and Law and Order

He appeared in one of the most successful films ever made in
Titantic and worked with future Batman
Ben Affleck in the Oscar Award winning Argo.  He has even worked in DC Comics productions
before, voicing Sinestro in the direct-to-video cartoon Green Lantern: First Flight.

When the subject of the Flash/Arrow
Spinoff
came up in the interview, Garber did not have much new information but
he was able to confirm many things:  The
series will be presented to CW executives at the May Upfronts, and they have not yet filmed a pilot.  It will be going straight to series.  He was able to state that they start filming
in August and will air on the CW in January.

Garber also stated that he is still playing half of
Firestorm, but made no mention of the question of Robbie Amell’s return.
