ARROW Casting New Recurring Character for Season Four

Arrow will begin production on its fourth season in a few weeks. Thus, some casting news for new characters on the show is expected to come soon. Today, we know of one new character who will recur throughout this season.

According to TV Line, Arrow will introduce a “heavily recurring” role in season four. The character, who will make his debut in the season’s second episode, is described as “a twentysomething African American male who is a technological savant on par with Ms. [Felicity] Smoak.” With Felicity on vacation with Oliver in who-knows-where, perhaps the remainder of Team Arrow has recruited a new computer expert to fill her position.

That is all that is given about this new character. Will he be a character found in DC Comics, or will he be an original creation for the show? Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Arrow returns this fall on The CW.
