DC’s INFINITE CRISIS MOBA Game Ending Soon

Infinite Crisis, the
officially licensed MOBA “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” from DC
and Turbine Incorporated was launched last March.  In the spirit of games like “League
of Legends
” and “Dota 2,Infinite Crisis allowed
players to battle with and against their favorite DC Characters and collect
other versions of them.
Unfortunately, the developers announced today that they will no longer be
supporting the game or adding new content and they will shut down the game
completely on August 14th.
They made the announcement on their Steam community page:
After much
deliberation, we regret to announce the official shutdown of Infinite Crisis.
We will end development efforts today and will close the service on August 14,
2015.

Between now and August 14th, the game will remain available to play completely
free. If you have any questions, contact Customer Service for assistance
at http://support.infinitecrisis.com.

This was an extremely difficult decision to make. On behalf of the entire
Infinite Crisis team we want to thank all of you for your feedback, support and
for joining together to create one of the best communities in gaming.

Turbine has not announced a reason why they are shutting the game down
however since MOBAs make their money on micro-transactions it is safe to assume
that this was the reason.
As Turbine stated, the game will be completely free to play until August
14th so there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the game.
