Grant Gustin Teases New Big Bad for THE FLASH Season Two

The Flash has one of the greatest rogues galleries in comic book history, and the first season of The CW’s show utilized many of them. From Reverse-Flash and Captain Cold to Grodd and Weather Wizard, The Flash featured many memorable villains right off the bat. And, especially after the stunning season finale, anticipation is high for what season two will offer.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait for long to see who the new big bad is. Speaking with Collider at the Saturn Awards – where he won the prize for “Breakthrough Performance Award” – series star Grant Gustin reveals that The Flash will introduce its season two villain within the first few episodes. “We’re introducing a really cool big bad that’s going to be revealed kind of immediately.”

Gustin also confirms that The Flash will appear in the opening episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Since he was seen in the promo trailer last month, it’s not surprising that Barry Allen will guest star in the midseason spin-off. Gustin says, “I’m going to be a part of that right out of the gates as well. I get to be Flash on three TV shows [the third being Arrow]. I was unemployed a year and a half ago, so that’s pretty cool.”
