Production on TNT’s TITANS Pilot Reportedly Delayed to Fall 2015

The last update we heard on TNT’s Titans, the potential series was targeting a summer 2015 production start date, with casting news to come even sooner. However, it looks like the DC Comics adaptation – rumored to be titled Blackbirds – has hit another delay.

According to Season Zero, production on Titans has been pushed to October of this year. It is expected to film in Toronto. However, the site says that the pilot is “still very much in the mix,” despite the delay. For the summer, TNT is focused on filming its Animal Kingdom pilot in Los Angeles.

The Titans (Blackbirds?) pilot is expected to star Dick Grayson (who is transitioning into the role of Nightwing), Barbara Gordon, Raven, Starfire, Hawk and Dove. Hopefully, the potential series will move forward sooner than later. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
