Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment Will Reportedly Have “Significant” Presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2015

Fans have widely expected that Warner Bros. will showcase something DC movie related at San Diego Comic-Con next month. Presumably, the studio would bring its 2016 films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, showcasing footage and likely cast presentations for both. But now, a new report reveals that these two movies will indeed be present, and possibly more.

Deadline has posted an article reaffirming that Marvel Studios will not return to Hall H at SDCC this year. While Marvel fans will surely be disappointed by this, this will allow WB/DC to completely steal the show at this year’s event. Both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad will be a part of the studio’s “significant presentation,” and it seems “likely” that actors such as Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Will Smith (Deadshot) will be present to promote their movies.

But that’s not all. According to Deadline, these two movies will be followed by WB/DC’s 2017 films, Wonder Woman and Justice League Part One, during the panel. The former is expected to begin production this fall, while the latter will not shoot until next year.

So, what could be shown from these two films? Concept art and/or official title cards are a possibility, as well as finalized release dates. And just maybe, they could bring out the whole Justice League cast, similar to how Marvel introduced The Avengers cast back in 2010. This would be a great way for WB to introduce the new Green Lantern actor.

Of course, there are plenty of other possibilities regarding what WB will show. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016. Suicide Squad will be released on August 5th, 2016.
