ARROW Alum Kevin Alejandro Joins Cast of LUCIFER

Lucifer will not
be hitting the airwaves until 2016 but there was a casting shakeup today.  According to Deadline, Flash alumni Nicholas Gonzalez has bowed out of the role of
“Dan” and has been replaced by Arrow alumni, Kevin Alejandro.
Alejandro is an experienced television actor who has
appeared on well over a dozen hit series in the 2000s, including: Sons of Anarchy, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, True
Blood
and 24.  Most fans will know him for his stint as
“Sebastian Blood aka Brother Blood” during season two of Arrow
It’s interesting to note, that this will not only be Alejandro’s second stint on DC Television but his second trek into a Vertigo adaptation.  He had a role in the 2005 film Constantine, starring Keanu
Reeves.  Lucifer will give him something of a DC “Hat trick.”

Alejandro will taking over the role of “Dan,” an
LAPD homicide detective that is wary of his wife and daughter’s involvement
with Lucifer.  The role was previously
held by Flash alumni, Nicholas
Gonzalez.  Gonzalez filmed the scenes in
the pilot, so it is possible that the character might be cut from the pilot or
his scenes will be re-filmed.   Either
way, we will have to wait until next year to find out.
