ARROW Producers Open to Matt Ryan's Constantine Appearing

As it stands right now, the tale of Constantine was a short and sad one.  The series was not able to find its footing
fast enough for NBC to renew the series and the producers were unable to find a
new home.  However, this does not mean
that the tale of John Constantine is over.
While speaking to IGN during Comic-Con, executive producer
Wendy Mericle expressed interest in bringing Ryan’s Constantine into the
fold.  “It’s something we’ve been talking to DC about and it’s just a question
of some political things, but also the actor’s schedule. We’re trying to work
it out, but we don’t know 100 percent if it’s going to happen.
There had been talk of bringing in Ryan’s Constantine to
help introduce the mystic arts to the Flash/Arrow
Universe.  With Ra’s al Ghul and
Lazarus Pits and now Damien Darhk that is no longer necessary but that does not
mean that someone with Constantine’s experience would not be welcome.
There are still hurdles to jump, including Matt Ryan’s
schedule.  Ryan is preparing to make a
run on Broadway opposite Keira Knightley and Judith Light in Therese Raquin starting Oct. 26th.
Until this is all worked out one way or the other, you can
still watch episodes of Constantine
on several streaming services including Hulu and Amazon.
Arrow returns to
the CW in October.
