DC TV Casting Bits: ARROW Finds its Anarky While GOTHAM Adds Silver St. Cloud

Earlier today, it was announced that Arrow had cast actor Echo Kellum as Mister Terrific, in a season four recurring role. Now, we know who will be playing the villanous Anarky. According to Comic Book Resources, Bates Motel actor Alexander Calvert has been cast as Lonnie Machin, who will make his debut in episode two of the season.

The show’s take on Anarky is described as “a deranged freelancing criminal who is willing to do whatever it takes to impress a potential employer.” Arrow marks the character’s live action debut. The series returns to The CW on October 7th.

In other casting news, Bruce Wayne is getting a new love interest in Gotham‘s second season. According to Entertainment Weekly, The Goldbergs‘s Natalie Alyn Lind will play Silver St. Cloud. She was one of Wayne’s many love interests in the comics. Here, however, the two will (obviously) be much younger.

Gotham‘s St. Cloud is described as “an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante. Add in the fact that she lost her parents at a young age, and it’s understandable why she and Bruce end up drawn to each other.” However, she does not have the best intentions in mind. She introduces Bruce to her uncle, Gotham mayoral candidate Theo Galavan – aka, one of the season’s new villains. Galavan becomes a new father figure for Bruce, which surely won’t go over well.

Gotham returns to Fox on September 21st.
