Rumor: Who is Playing Robin in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE?

After months of rumors, it was confirmed in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con trailer that there is a dead Robin in this universe, slain by The Joker. The damaged Robin suit is on display in the Batcave, with Joker graffiti over it.

This leads to further speculation; will we actually see Robin’s death in the movie? Will Jared Leto make his Joker debut here before Suicide Squad? Is this Robin truly Jason Todd, or could they change it to Dick Grayson?

Today, we have a rumor that may reveal which actor is playing Robin in Dawn of Justice. Heroic Hollywood has shared an unverified rumor claiming to know the answer to this question.

According to Heroic Hollywood, none other than Eli Snyder, the son of director Zack Snyder, is “supposedly” playing the now deceased Robin. He shares a scene with Jared Leto’s Joker; this is almost definitely the flashback sequence where Robin dies. However, this rumor is not yet confirmed, but it does sound plausible.

Eli previously played brief roles in two of his dad’s other movies, 300 and Watchmen. So, it would make sense for father and son to reteam for another brief role in Batman v Superman. Now a football player – with a Robin-worthy physicality – Eli is set to attend UCLA this fall.

Again, while this rumor could be true, it has not been confirmed at this time. Thus, take it with a pinch of salt until we receive verification.
