SUPERGIRL Series Casts Its Reactron

He was teased during San Diego Comic Con and now Supergirl has their Reactron in Chris
Browning.
Browning is an experienced TV and film actor, after breaking
into acting with roles on Silk Stalkings
and In Living Color in 1991,
Browning has had dozens of appearances on series like: In the House, As the World Turns, CSI and Graceland.  Most might know
Browning from his run on Sons of Anarchy
and the CW series, The 100.  He’s also appeared on numerous films, such as
3:10 to Yuma opposite two other DC
actors; Christian Bale and Russell Crowe.
(imdb)
Created by Paul Kupperberg and Carmine Infantino, Reactron
is a villain that dates back to The
Daring New Adventures of Supergirl
, issue 8.  Ben Krullen was a in the US Army during
Vietnam, he participated in a massacre of a village before going AWOL.  The incident caused Krullen to discover his powers;
he was able to give off radiation in the form of concussive blasts.  In addition to tangling with Supergirl, he
fought the Doom Patrol.
After the DC Reboot following Crisis on Infinite Earths, Reactron was renamed Benjamin Martin
Krull.  He became a nemesis of Power Girl
and the Doom Patrol though his powers were largely unchanged.  He was a member of the Suicide Squad for a
while before he was reimagined during the “New Krypton”
storyline.  After this he was given a
heart of Gold Kryptonite, similar to Metallo.
During one battle he killed Supergirl’s father, Zor-El.  Reactron then destroys New Krypton in a
suicide attack.
Though he is listed as a guest star in episode 3, the
article suggests Browning will more than likely return.
Supergirl airs
Monday Nights at 8E on CBS starting October 26th, 2015.

Just another guy on the internet.
