WONDER WOMAN Movie Hires LIFE OF PI VFX Supervisor

With production on Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman film beginning soon, we have a new addition to the crew that will bring Diana Prince’s world to life on the big screen. According to Variety (via DC Comics Movie), Academy Award winner Bill Westenhofer will serve as the VFX supervisor for the DC Comics adaptation.

Westenhofer won two Oscars for his work on The Golden Compass and Life of Pi, while receiving a nomination for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. He is also working on next year’s Warcraft movie. So, this is a very impressive addition to the Wonder Woman team, and it will be very interesting to see Westenhofer’s visual work on this film.

Filming for Wonder Woman will commence later this fall in London. So, stay tuned for much more news in the coming weeks and months.

Wonder Woman is scheduled to hit theaters June 23rd, 2017. The fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. Patty Jenkins directs from a script by Jason Fuchs.
