Possible Details on a New JUSTICE LEAGUE Animated Series, Title, Network and More

For the past couple years, there have been rumors surrounding the Justice League’s return to animation on the small screen. Back in 2013, Bruce Timm was reportedly set to return to the DC Animated Universe with a new Justice League show; since then, he has produced the Gods and Monsters Chronicles series. Then, earlier this year, an alleged image from a Warner Bros. office revealed a poster for an upcoming series starring the DC ensemble. Today, that image has re-emerged, but we may now have some details on what to expect from this show.

According to Nerdist, the new Justice League show is apparently called Justice League: Action. While the series was originally expected to air on Cartoon Network, it may wind up on another WB channel, such as Boomerang. Boomerang has become known for reairing classic shows from the 1960’s onward, but the network will be the home of current/upcoming shows such as Be Cool Scooby-Doo and Wabbit. Perhaps Justice League: Action will be another new addition to the lineup.

Regarding the lineup, the poster hints at the presence of many iconic Justice League members, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Hawkgirl and more. See if you can identify them all.

Of course, this info is subject to change if and when we get an official announcement for the series. Hopefully, we’ll hear something sooner than later. Stay tuned.
