Warner TV Announces NYCC Schedule

The New York Comic Convention is just a few weeks away and
promises to give fans plenty to talk about.
Today Warner Brothers gave people their first taste of what to expect by
releasing their panel schedule for the show.
Judging by the schedule DC/Vertigo-Television will be a cornerstone of
their presentations.  So, if you’re going
to be attending the convention or just plan on following it on social media now
is your chance to start planning your strategy.
First up on Thursday October 8th is Warner’s Pilot Presentation.  At 7:00p local on the main stage, Warner will
screen three Pilots:  Supergirl, Containment and Lucifer.
The Supergirl pilot was
shown at San Diego (and leaked online before that) and received a lot of praise.  With the show premiering at the end of
October there is no doubt that Warner and CBS want to remind fans of what they
can expect.
Then there’s Fox’s mid-season pick-up series, Lucifer.  Attendees will get an early opportunity to
see the King of Hell in the city of Angels as he helps the LAPD solve the
murder of his friend.
As a bonus, there will be special preview of another
upcoming mid-season DC-TV series, Legends
of Tomorrow
On Sunday, there will autograph sessions with stars from Legends of Tomorrow from 11:00a-11:30a, Supergirl from 11:45a-12:15p and Gotham from 2:00p to 2:45p.
Please note that no specific cast members have been announced yet.
At 1:30p on the Empire Stage, Warner Brothers has their “TV
Takeover.”  There will be a video
presentation and Question and Answer session for Gotham featuring Ben McKenzie, Robin Lord Taylor and Cory Michael
Smith are scheduled to take part.  In
addition, the Supergirl pilot and Legends of Tomorrow video presentation
will be shown again with Question and Answer sessions to follow.
As with all conventions, those who are scheduled to appear
may not appear.  If you are attending,
you can keep an eye on cancellations HERE.
