Zack Snyder Weighs in on George Miller Possibly Directing a DC Movie

It has been rumored recently that Mad Max: Fury Road helmer George Miller was talking with Warner Bros. about directing one of the DC Extended Universe films. The most frequent name that came up was the Man of Steel sequel, which is expected to be released by 2020. Now, director and DCEU producer Zack Snyder has weighed in on this rumor.

Talking with News.com.au, Snyder admitted that he would be very excited to get Miller on board the DCEU train, calling Fury Road a “[bleep]ing great” movie. “George doing one of the DC movies? Oh my God, absolutely. George can do anything he wants, in my opinion. We haven’t talked about it, and to be frank I just didn’t know what he was thinking of doing next. But yeah, if I was to think he had any interest in them of course I’m happy to talk to him.”

Currently, there are a few DC movies that have yet to lock down directors. Chris Miller and Phil Lord were being courted to direct The Flash, for which they’re writing the story. But given their commitment to directing a Han Solo movie for Disney, they may not have the time, leaving the Flash position open to George Miller. There are also Shazam, Cyborg, Green Lantern Corps and, again, Man of Steel 2. Which DC movie do you think Miller should direct?
