Second Trailer for SUICIDE SQUAD Coming Soon?

A three-minute trailer for Suicide Squad was released at Comic-Con last summer, giving us our first look at the highly anticipated supervillain film. As we draw closer to the movie’s theatrical release, fans have been wondering when we’ll get a second trailer. The most frequent suggestion was March, attached to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, it looks like we’ll be getting a new trailer even sooner.

According to Heroic Hollywood, the next Suicide Squad trailer will likely be released sometime next month. The site suggests that it could be out during NFL playoffs/Super Bowl time. However, this release date isn’t set in stone, and Warner Bros. may delay the trailer’s debut.

Heroic Hollywood also has a very detailed, shot-for-shot description of the trailer. It breaks down the scenes and dialogue featured, as well as the title cards. The trailer is allegedly set to “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. You can check out the full description of the trailer HERE.

Since this description of the trailer has leaked, Heroic Hollywood suggests that it could lead to WB delaying or even cancelling the trailer. However, the studio supposedly spent “a long time” editing the trailer, so delaying it would be unnecessary.

This is all rumor for now, so take it with a pinch of salt until we receive official confirmation. However, as we enter the new year, it won’t be too long before the marketing campaign for Suicide Squad kicks off. Stay tuned for more updates as we have them.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to hit theaters August 5th, 2016. The third installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez and Karen Fukahara. David Ayer writes and directs.
