The League is finally back! For the first time since 2006 the Justice League has a new animated show. The Justice League Action premiere was a series of episodes connected together to create one over arcing story. The show starts off with Batman on patrol. Review: BATMAN: THE TELLTALE SERIES
The Dark Knight returned (pun not intended) to consoles this year in Batman: The Telltale Series. This game is vastly different from his last outing, Batman: Arkham Knight. We follow Bruce Wayne, he’s a more inexperienced Batman and this is his first real battle. The choices you make impact the story. For instance, having the choice to save one character over the other. Ben Affleck Confirms THE BATMAN is on Track for Spring 2017 Production Start
Recently, signs have been pointing to Ben Affleck’s standalone Batman movie coming sooner than later. Warner Bros. is delaying Justice League 2 to make room for this film, currently titled The Batman, while Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has said that he begins shooting next spring. However, Affleck has remained mum on when exactly his movie is happening, citing a desire to create a good script before moving forward. Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn emerged as the breakout character from DC Films’ Suicide Squad. So much so, that Warner Bros. put a spin-off film into development. The movie will focus on Harley and an ensemble of other DC female characters. Now, the film has a director and a title, while we also have updates on the future of the Squad franchise. Patrick Wilson Cast as Ocean Master in AQUAMAN Movie
Aquaman was recently moved to an October 5th, 2018 release, which is a few months later than its initial summer 2018 date. Despite the delay, filming locations are still being scouted, with an eye to begin production early next year. Plus, casting is underway, and we now know who is playing one of Aquaman’s key supporting characters. According to Deadline, actor Patrick Wilson has been cast as Orm, aka Ocean Master, in Aquaman. NBC Sets Premiere Date for POWERLESS Series
Joining the DC Entertainment television slate next year is Powerless, a workplace comedy series on NBC. The show focuses on an insurance company in the DC Universe, as we see through the eyes of these ordinary and, well, powerless people. Powerless stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk, and Ron Funches. Now, we finally know when exactly the series begins. Marc Guggenheim Offers Update on FREEDOM FIGHTERS: THE RAY and Teases VIXEN Announcement
