International THOR: RAGNAROK Trailer Features a Strange Cameo

We’re only a few months away from the release of Marvel’s next blockbuster, Thor: Ragnarok. Today, we have a new international trailer for the highly anticipated sequel. Most of it features footage and dialogue we’ve already seen in past trailers, but there’s also some new footage from a key cameo in the movie.

[This isn’t really a spoiler, as it’s something that’s been confirmed for a while. But if you still don’t want to know anything about it, this is your warning.]

So the new Thor: Ragnarok international trailer starts off with Thor meeting none other than Doctor Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. The mid-credits scene from Doctor Strange featured the Sorcerer Supreme meeting Thor, offering his assistance to help find Odin. It was then confirmed that Dr. Strange is indeed in Ragnarok, and it’s only reaffirmed here.

It’s unclear exactly how big a role Strange has in this movie, but don’t be surprised if it’s minor, if not just a glorified cameo. But the character will return in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War, and we’re still waiting to hear about that solo sequel.

Check out the trailer below, and stay tuned for more as we have it.

Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to hit theaters on November 3rd.
