DEADPOOL 2 Gets a Teaser Trailer and Synopsis

Fans went wild over the marketing campaign for Deadpool a couple years ago, and sure enough, its sequel is trying to replicate that success. Today, Fox released the film’s teaser trailer, and it’s about as silly as you’d expect. The trailer is mostly a Bob Ross parody, with our hero painting and spouting profanities in typical Deadpool fashion. We also get a few brief glimpses of actual footage from the movie.

Additionally, Fox has released an official synopsis for the film. The site is currently calling it The Untitled Deadpool Sequel. It’s unclear if it really is untitled or if the title is being super-meta. But, we should expect official clarification soon.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
