Ezra Miller Wants to See the Injustice League in the JUSTICE LEAGUE Sequel

DC Films’ Justice League is finally hitting theaters this week. So far, the movie has earned mostly positive reactions from fans and critics, while it is tracking to open with at least $120 million this weekend. Assuming that the film is a big hit, we’ll definitely get a sequel in the near future. But who should be the villain(s)? One of the movie’s stars has an idea.

Speaking with Toronto Sun, Flash actor Ezra Miller expresses interest in seeing the Injustice League in Justice League 2. “I think I can speak for everyone in the League when I say that we’re extremely excited by the prospect of continuing this journey. We don’t really know for sure, and we’re usually the last people to find out, but … each of the heroes in this movie has specific nemeses, and I think seeing some incarnation of the Injustice League (which includes Lex Luthor, Joker, Deathstroke and more) would be something that DC fans would be pretty stoked about.” Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot weighs in, saying that she’d like to fight Cheetah in a future film.

So far, the DC Films Universe has introduced many iconic supervillains, such as Lex Luthor, Joker, and the Suicide Squad. Characters like Deathstroke, Ocean Master, and Black Manta are also on the way. So, forming an Injustice League/Legion of Doom-type team in a Justice League sequel would be ideal. It could also prolong the wait to see Darkseid as the big bad.

Also in the Toronto Sun interview, Miller confirms that his Flash movie, Flashpoint, is coming up “really soon.” However, he can’t confirm details just yet. It was recently reported that Flashpoint is still a top priority for Warner Bros., with a director being hired soon.

The fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amber Heard, Joe Morton, Willem Dafoe, Jeremy Irons, and J.K. Simmons. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon.
