JUSTICE LEAGUE Falls to Second Place This Weekend, Nears $500 Million Worldwide
DC Films’ Justice League has not only earned mixed reviews from critics, but it has struggled at the box office too. Its $94 million opening weekend was the franchise’s lowest to date, while it is supposed to make at least $700 million worldwide if it were to break even. We don’t know if that’s happening yet, but we have the estimates from its second weekend. Per Box Office Mojo, Justice League grossed an estimated $40.7 million over the three-day weekend $59.6 million over five days, putting it in second place behind Pixar’s Coco ($49 million/$71.2 million). This is a nearly 57% drop from its opening weekend; that’s a bigger drop than Wonder…

FEATURE: Five Villains We Want to See in DC Films’ Injustice League
[Warning: The Following Contains Some SPOILERS From Justice League.] The Injustice League is one of several villain teams in the DC Universe, where some of the world’s greatest antagonists join forces to take on the Justice League. And based on the post-credits scene for Justice League, it looks like that’s the plan for the future. In the scene, Deathstroke/Slade Wilson meets with Lex Luthor, who just broke out of prison. Lex talks about the formation of the Justice League, and he asks Slade, “Shouldn’t we have a league of our own?” This perfectly sets up the Injustice League for a sequel, if it happens. We can definitely expect Lex and…

Review: Marvel's THE PUNISHER (2017)
A former Marine out to punish the criminals responsible for his family’s murder finds himself ensnared in a military conspiracy. [Netflix] In the past, Marvel’s Punisher was adapted to live action three times. Dolph Lundgren played Frank Castle in the 1989 film, Thomas Jane played him in the 2004 movie (and reprised the role for the “Dirty Laundry” short), and Ray Stevenson played him in 2008’s Punisher: War Zone. Following the latter film’s failure, the Punisher rights returned to Marvel Studios. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been largely family-friendly on film, the studio found a way to tell adult-oriented stories through Netflix, beginning with Daredevil. Frank Castle was introduced as…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 4×06 “When Harry met Harry”
The Flash (4×06) – “When Harry met Harry” Written by: Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza Directed by: Brent Crowell So, while our main plot for the season is still in the opening stages (read that as they don’t really want to go all-in until after the obnoxious fan-favorite four-night crossover is done. They’re fighting Nazis guys, because that hasn’t been done to death in 2017!) it’s best to just take things slowly. Barry and Ralph agree that’s why they’re getting a cup of coffee at Jitters. Of course, since they’re two superheroes they accosted by a mugger with a gun and Barry takes this as a teachable moment…
