BLACK PANTHER Covers Latest Issue of Empire

This week’s issue of Empire Magazine offers a sneak peek at next year’s blockbusters, and the cover story is Marvel Studios’ Black Panther. The magazine, which hits stores on Thursday, features new images and other details on the highly anticipated blockbuster.

Actor Michael B. Jordan, who plays the villainous Erik Killmonger, talks about his prep for the role with Empire. “It took me to a dark place. Honestly, I can’t really go through all I went through to get into it because I want to keep that close to me. But it stuck with me afterwards.” He also says that he had a lot of fun with co-star Chadwick Boseman on filming the action scenes, and he adds that despite the film’s African setting, it’s “universal” and offers something for everyone around the world.
