Marc Guggenheim Already Has Some Plans for LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 4 and ARROW Season 7

The CW has yet to announce which of its DC shows will be returning for new seasons next year, but considering their success (particularly with the crossovers), it’s hard to imagine any of them going away anytime soon. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim sounds confident about his two shows, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and there are some ideas for next season.

Speaking with ComicBook, Guggenheim confirms that the writers room is already talking about new seasons for Arrow and Legends, citing at least two key ideas. “I would say on Legends we have an idea for what I will call the raison d’etre [reason for existing] of Season 4. Like, I think each Season has had a raison d’etre. And we have, for Arrow, a plan for the Big Bad.” Guggenheim clarifies that these plans could change as the seasons evolve, and they haven’t been officially picked up just yet. But, this is what they’re planning right now.

Hopefully, we’ll receive official word of season renewals in the coming months. What do you hope to see in new seasons of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow?
