THOR: RAGNAROK Thunders Past $300 Million in North America

Over a month in theaters, and Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok is still going strong at the box office. This weekend, the sequel surpasses a key domestic milestone.

Per Box Office Mojo, the film has now passed $300 million in North America, making it the sixth highest grosser of the year. Its worldwide total is now $833.2 million, surpassing Wonder Woman as the third biggest superhero movie of the year. With Star Wars: The Last Jedi out this week, Ragnarok probably won’t make too much more, but this is still an impressive figure.

Ragnarok is now the 10th highest grossing MCU movie in North America and the 7th biggest worldwide. Actually, it’s the highest grossing film that does not have Iron Man or the Guardians of the Galaxy in it. How cool is that?

Stay tuned for more box office updates as we have them.
