LOGAN, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Nominated at the Academy Awards

Well well well, we have two Marvel movies going to the Oscars! Who knows which one will take home the trophy?

Wait, I’m being told that is not how this works. Apparently there’s multiple trophies – yay! Everybody wins!

No, I’m still wrong? Dang it, ok. *does Google* I’m up to speed now!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been nominated for best Visual Effects by the Academy. It will be up against Blade Runner 2049, Kong: Skull Island, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and War for the Planet of the Apes. Guardians is up against some tough competition in this group. I can’t decide who should win!

Logan is up for an Oscar as well in the Best Adapted Screenplay category. It will be competing for the famed statue, against Call Me by Your Name, The Disaster Artist, Molly’s Game, and Mudbound. In this group, I think Logan has a great shot, but the only other one I’ve heard of in this group of nominees is The Disaster Artist, and I haven’t seen it yet.
