Review: AGENTS OF SHIELD 5×07: "Together or Not at All"

Greetings, SHIELD peeps! “Together or Not at All” came and went, so how was it? Let’s dive in…
[Warning: The Following Contains SPOILERS for Agents of SHIELD 5×07.]
When we last left our heroes, Daisy, Fitz, Jemma, and May make a daring escape from Kasius! And that’s where this episode picks up. Daisy & co. make a dash, find Zeke, and catch up with Coulson & co., only to be pursued by Kasius’ lackey, Sinara. It’s a mad dash to escape, but the future demands their success!
The big focal point of this episode actually isn’t our heroes: it’s Kasius, which is a welcome change from the monotony of the Coulson B-plot. We learn about Kasius’ motivations and the rivalry with his brother, culminating in a downright chilling discussion about antique weaponry. Kasius is a coward, but he’s a calculating coward, and that makes him a true triple threat.
The escape plot was fine… and hey, Coulson finally merged into the A-plot! THANK GOODNESS; his do-nothing status was getting old. But… we’re stuck in this lull right before the next big plot thread, and the waiting is getting old. The reveal of Old Robin at the end of the episode (aka the Inhuman prophet girl who foresaw the end of the world) wasn’t a big shock, and I wasn’t so thrilled about the further splitting up of Flint, Mack, and Yo-Yo. But it is what it is, and I’m interested to see where the show goes from here.
