Possible AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Runtime Revealed

We’re over a month away from the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the long-awaited story that pits almost every Marvel superhero against Thanos. The wait recently got a bit shorter, as the film moved up from May 4th to April 27th. Now, we may have a runtime.

AMC Theatre‘s page for Infinity War was recently updated with a runtime: 2 hours and 36 minutes, or 156 minutes. This would easily make it the longest Marvel Studios movie to date. The current record holder is Captain America: Civil War, which runs for 2 hours and 27 minutes.

This runtime goes along with Joe Russo’s past comments, where he said that it was probably going to be over two and a half hours long. It’s also possible that this runtime is just a placeholder, and it could be off by a couple minutes or so from the final runtime. We’ll know for sure in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters on April 27th. The 19th installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Benicio del Toro, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Don Cheadle. Joe and Anthony Russo direct from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
