DC Universe Details Announced; Will Include Older Movies and TV Shows, Comics and More

DC Entertainment has finally shared some details on its upcoming streaming service, DC Universe. And based on the announcement, it sounds like a must for any DC fan.

DC Universe will be anchored by original shows, beginning with this year’s Titans. 2019 will see the arrivals of four more shows – Young Justice: Outsiders, Harley Quinn, Swamp Thing, and Doom Patrol.

But in addition to the originals, DC Universe will feature the company’s older movies and television shows, both live action and animated. Everything from Richard Donner’s Superman to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox to Batman: The Animated Series will be available on the platform.

On top of that, DC Universe will host an extensive comic book library. Both old and new titles will be available in a “world-class” digital reader….which, by the way, you can access on a television. While this won’t include every DC comic ever, it will include thousands of issues, from pre-Flashpoint to New 52 to Rebirth.

Other DC Universe benefits include a member-exclusive merch shop, a discussion forum where you can talk with DC creators and fans, an interactive DCU encyclopedia, and access to premium rewards.

DC Universe will launch a beta in August, before going live to the public in the fall. Click HERE to visit the official website and sign up for beta.
