CAPTAIN MARVEL Wraps Production

As Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp has hit theaters this weekend, production has wrapped on the studio’s next highly anticipated blockbuster.

Star Brie Larson and co-director Ryan Fleck have announced on social media that Captain Marvel has finished shooting. The movie has been filming for a few months in California, before wrapping in Baton Rouge and New Orelans, Lousiana. This also takes place as Marvel and Sony begin production on Spider-Man: Far From Home, while Avengers 4 reshoots will happen later in the year.

With filming now complete, Captain Marvel is heading into post-production. As for when marketing begins, Kevin Feige said recently that a trailer won’t be released for a while, so we have some time to go. Stay tuned for more as we have it.

Captain Marvel is scheduled to hit theaters on March 8th, 2019. The 21st installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck direct.
