OPINION: Batman or Superman: Which Comic Should You Be Reading?
Right now, the two biggest superheroes in comics are Batman and Superman. One is what all of humanity should strive to be, and one is what a man could be he if dedicated all of his life on a singular goal to stop all crime. And dresses like a bat. They’re also the only two heroes with two separate comic books dedicated to them. You might also be able to count Spidey, but he has, like, ten of them all dedicated to different versions. Anyhoo, this is not an easy question. Both of these characters have A-list writers backing them, and are currently writing some amazing stories. But sadly, comics…

Review: TEEN TITANS: TROUBLE IN TOKYO
Before I start with this review, I never really saw this show all the seasons out. I saw some episodes here and there, but never watched every episode. But with that said. Throughout my watch of Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, it felt like I watched a reverse Mask of Phantasm. With Mask of the Phantasm, I got the feeling that people went all out, doing a worthy entry of the animated series. Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo came off as a last minute attempt to cash in on the fans that desperately wanted some more content based on the show they loved. The biggest reason for this is the animation.…

According to Deadline, actress Rhona Mitra has joined Supergirl in the recurring role of Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor’s former bodyguard. This take on Mercy is described as “…an ex-CADMUS agent who has always believed in human exceptionalism. But with both Lex and Lillian in prison, Mercy is stepping out of the Luthor shadow and running her own show. With her biting wit and lethal brawn, Mercy steadily becomes a key figure in National City’s growing ‘human-first’ movement.” Mercy was originally created for Superman: The Animated Series, before…

Cinema is sacred, and it needs to be protected at all costs. Unfortunately, every now and then, a film comes along, trying to tarnish the art form. Sony showcased its Venom movie at San Diego Comic-Con last week, and since then, we’ve gotten a bunch of news tidbits surrounding the film. Here, we compile a few of them. Speaking with Comic Book, director Ruben Fleischer confirms that the movie does open the door for sequels down the line. However, it all depends on how people respond to the first film. “We’ve definitely laid some groundwork for different directions that the franchise could go but obviously it all hinges on people’s excitement about this film. I hope people will stay and see what seeds have been planted.” Venom is expected to kick off a new slate of Sony Marvel…

BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM Review
Batman gets framed for murder while a new foe has appeared. Are these two somehow connected? When people discuss which Batman movie is the best, Mask of the Phantasm is often one of the contenders during those conversations. After rewatching it again years after my first watch, I can safely say that I understand why, even though I might not find it to be the crown jewel for the Caped Crusader, it is a spot on his personal Mount Rushmore for sure though. What I like the most about this movie, is that while it is truly a crime thriller first and foremost, it dwells more into the mind of…
