FEATURE: 3 Reasons Rey’s a Skywalker (And 3 She’s Not)
Hi you! Thanks for clicking! You’re here, you read the title. I know there’s been a lot of back and forth, and I’m just going to stoke the fire, but spoiler alert, I’m for her being a Skywalker. I’ve heard all the reasons, all the back and forth, I’ve been told I’m “living in the past”. If you wanna discuss reasonably, feel free to reach out to us on Twitter, @WOBAMEnt, or you can reach out to me directly, @kgilstrap13. Be nice though. Trolls will not get responses. Anyways! What you’re here for. There’s three reasons I think she’s a Skywalker. But I can also see why she wouldn’t be a…

SONG REVIEW: “Venom” by Eminem
It isn’t too often that Marshall Mathers drops a new sick beat. But these are uncommon times, and uncommon times call for uncommon measures. Take Sony’s latest motion picture: Venom, starring Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road, Star Trek: Nemesis) and Riz Ahmed (“Rogue One? Rogue One.”). Venom is a pretty good what if: What if Venom existed separate from Spider-Man? What if Venom was sorta-kinda-maybe in the MCU but also definitely-maybe-sorta not? And today, we have another what if to ask: What if Eminem contributed a song to a superhero film? Wonder no more, ladies and gents, for Slim Shady’s “Venom” has arrived. “Venom” is a pretty good movie…

Last we heard on the Black Adam movie, star Dwayne Johnson suggested that production could begin in late 2019. Matt Smith Joins STAR WARS EPISODE IX in Key Role
Star Wars Episode IX is still filling out its cast, as production is underway in the UK. Its latest addition is someone with plenty of geek cred. Matt Smith, aka the Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who, has joined the cast of Episode IX in what’s said to be a “key” role. And, unsurprisingly, that’s all we know about his character. It’s unclear if he will be a good guy or a villain. We’ll just have to wait and see. In addition to Doctor Who, Smith was in 2015’s Terminator Genisys, while he is currently nominated for an Emmy for his supporting role on Netflix’s The Crown. Stay tuned for more…

Alec Baldwin Has Already Exited JOKER Movie
Two days ago, it was reported that Alec Baldwin had joined the cast of Warner Bros.’ Joker movie as Thomas Wayne, aka the father of Bruce Wayne/Batman. It was a fun thought while it lasted, however. Baldwin tells USA Today that he has dropped out of Joker, citing a scheduling conflict. “I’m no longer doing that movie. I’m sure there are 25 guys who can play that part.” Scheduling conflicts happen all the time, but it’s odd how Baldwin cites it just two days after his casting was first reported. Wouldn’t something like that be decided upon beforehand? Thomas Wayne is reportedly being depicted as a “cheesy and tanned” businessman, compared to 1980s…
